WHAT IS MORPHEUS8?
Morpheus8 is a subdermal adipose remodeling device (SARD) that utilizes the combination of microneedling with radio-frequency technology to remodel the building blocks of the skin. Morpheus8 targets the subdermal layer of the skin to stimulate collagen production while accomplishing skin tightening and tactical volumetric reduction. The micropins penetrates about 4mm deep which allows true contouring to occur by melting fat. There is little to no damage to the dermis with almost no patient downtime. Most patients experience mild redness and swelling for only a few hours after treatment.
CANDIDATES FOR MORPHEUS8?
Morpheus8 can be used on any areas of the skin that can benefit from subdermal skin renewal and rejuvenation. These areas include face and body that exhibits wrinkles, discoloration, or acne that are suitable for this treatment. The most commonly treated areas include face, neck, and abdomen. The Morpheus8 has colorblind technology and can be used on all skin types.
THE MORPHEUS8 PROCEDURE
The area to be treated with Morpheus8 is typically numbed with a topical anesthetic prior to the treatment. Next the Morpheus8 handpiece stamps the areas of concern. Typical treatment times are under an hour. Next, the treated skin is cleansed and coated with a thin layer of antibiotic ointment followed by a proprietary skin rejuvenation cocktail. Morpheus8 can be combined with PRP for optimal results.
HOW MORPHEUS8 WORKS
HOW MANY MORPHEUS TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Patients can expect to have anywhere from 1-3 treatment sessions depending on the specific Morpheus8 regime. The best results are achieved after 3 treatments. Treatments are typically spaced 4-6 week apart.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Visible results can be seen after a few days, although the most noticeable results appear 3 weeks following the treatment. Results will continue to improve up to 3 months after the procedure.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF FRACTIONATED ENERGY?
Fractionated RF energy found in Morpheus8 is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro-pins to resurface and restore the skin, providing exceptional results with almost no patient downtime.
PROCEDURE AND POST CARE?
The Morpheus8 treatment is performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. It has minimal pain, swelling and redness associated with it. Procedure times typically require 1 hour for completion. Following the treatment, mild swelling and redness can be expected for a few days. After the procedure, patients are encouraged to avoid direct sun exposure for a few weeks following treatment. Patients should use a broad spectrum sunscreen and gentle moisturizer everyday. Make up can be applied 1-2 days after treatment.
